Run Coyote is a rock’n’roll / western noir band from Toronto, Ontario. The band soundtracks the fatal affairs of late-night lovers and the adventures of downtown cowboys through twangy guitars and dynamic arrangements and rhythms. Known for their dramatic and engaging live show, Run Coyote mixes “surf rock and western swagger” to “create sounds that might be a sync license in a vintage Hollywood silver screen picture” (Ian McFarland, It’s Not Records).
After spending the pandemic years writing and recording, Run Coyote’s new release, Songs to Run to – out now – features the more personal side of Sam Allen’s songwriting, set to the biggest rock’n’roll music band has released yet. The new EP features already-live-favourites “Alligator” and “The Detectives Took My Baby!”
Naked Neighbours is made up of two good friends, both with choral backgrounds, who enjoy creating and being surrounded by music. There is a bare approach to their music, with layered vocals at the forefront and simple instrumental accompaniment. They hope to present themselves into the Ottawa music scene as gracefully and effortlessly as a naked neighbour would present themselves in a window.
