Smelloship is a 6-piece instromonstrosity from Ottawa and Gatineau, Canada. Channeling 70s funk, soul, and southern rock, Smelloship rides a starfield where vintage tone and second-line swagger collide in greasy, greasy harmony.
Smelloship has released two EPs, in 2024 and 2025, and their subspace signals have been detected on radios around the globe — including CBC’s Saturday Night Jazz and All in a Day programs. They've opened for Parliament Funkadelic and collaborated live with artists like Moon Hooch (NYC) and Rebecca Noelle (OTT), and they’ve become known for their high-energy show and tasteful guest performers. This show features local superstar Nick Cochrane on trumpet!
